The Hammerdesis™ is a 3D printed Titanium Alloy interphalangeal fixation device, to be used in conjunction with a K-Wire in a peg and hole fusion procedure.
Multiple Sizes: The Hammerdesis™ counter rotation implant comes in two different sizes to accommodate differing anatomies. Implants are color coded for differentiation (Blue=Small; Green=Large).
Counter Rotation: The spikes on each side of the counter rotation ring easily penetrate cancellous bone and prevents rotation of adjacent phalanges.
Simple Instrumentation: The implantation of a counter rotation ring requires the use of only three commonly used instruments.
